In July we will be studying solar heat and heat energy. Please keep in mind that this lesson may change if the weather does not provide us favorable conditions for the solar heaters (raining/overcast). The alternate lesson will be making ice cream in a bag.

I will be providing graham crackers, milk chocolate, and marshmallows. Please be aware of your student's allergies and govern yourselves accordingly.

Visual Verses is for children ages 7-10 in honor of National Poetry Month. Each week will feature a classic children's poem. After a reading of the poem children will create guided illustrations inspired by the poem.

Emotions in Motions is an art program that includes creating art that relates to a specific type of emotion (such as peace, anger, sadness, etc.). Within each emotion we will be discussing about the emotion and the art techniques behind our art piece. Throughout the class, the students will be able to follow along with the teacher to complete the artwork.
